Welcome to Segarati

Segarati is in Italy, in the Northern Apennines.

Here the marine winds of the Ligurian coast cross  the first foothills of the Apennines and Eastern and Northern winds, the stream of the torrents  flows towards the Adriatic, the wide valleys are lazy up to the “pianura”, the fertile plain of river Po. Beautiful woody mountains, rich Romanic, medieval architecture and plentiful culture gastronomic tradition.  Verdi, Il Parmigianino, Lambrusco, Ham and Parmigiano-Reggiano, all in one. It is in this corner of paradise  that we have decided to live and work.

Segarati Origin – Our mountain gastronomic products

We have two jobs : we are farmers who have chosen the way of an essential operation of land – no chemical fertilizers, no weed killer, no pesticides. Hays and cereal  allow us to be breeders, it is here that our dairy cows live the thread of the seasons naturally, they give us a label “high quality”milk  with which we create our special and delicious Parmigiano-Reggiano DOP.
